Are Olivier Daigre and Jean D’Aigle dit l’Allemand related?
The Daigle surname currently brings together two families of different European origin: that of Olivier Daigre and that of Jean Daigle dit L’Allemand.
Are they related? One of the biggest mystery and researched question for all Daigle cousins. Modern research thru DNA mapping has confirmed that they are not related.
The French Heritage project at Family Tree DNA has « now confirmed that Olivier and Jean have different yDNA and therefore had different biological fathers.
